Catherine Kyalo is a Food Science and Nutrition professional with over eight years of experience in Research & Development, Quality Assurance, and Food Safety Management. She has led the development, testing, and commercial scale-up of innovative products including Bio Maziwa Lala and Bio Power Drink Yoghurt, alongside other fermented dairy and sauce-based formulations.
Her R&D expertise is strengthened by a solid background in Quality Assurance, where she has supported quality control systems, enhanced audit readiness, and ensured regulatory compliance. As a certified FSSC 22000 auditor, Catherine successfully led the full implementation of the FSSC 22000 food safety management system, incorporating ISO 22000, PRPs, and additional scheme requirements.
She brings a practical, solutions-driven approach to product optimization and risk-based food safety systems, helping drive product excellence, operational efficiency, and sustainable business growth.
