George Mwasaru is the General Manager of Kericho Gold Tea, a premium Kenyan tea brand produced by Gold Crown Beverages (K) Ltd, a subsidiary of the Global Tea & Commodities Group. Kericho Gold is recognised as one of Kenya’s leading premium tea brands and has grown its distribution both regionally and internationally since its launch in 2002.
With extensive experience in brand and commercial management within the consumer goods sector, George has played a key leadership role in advancing Kericho Gold’s market presence and strategic growth. Prior to his current role, he has held positions encompassing sales, marketing, and category management, bringing a strong commercial and brand development perspective to the company’s operations.
In his capacity as General Manager, George is responsible for steering Kericho Gold’s overall business performance, strengthening trade partnerships, and enhancing the brand’s visibility across domestic and export markets. His leadership contributes to the company’s commitment to quality, innovation, and sustainable value creation in the Kenyan tea industry.
