Founded in 1943 in Eibar (Spain), ABC Compressors is a world leader in compressor design and manufacture, with more than 4,000 PET units installed worldwide. It was the first company to develop PET compressors in collaboration with Sidel.
Present in 130 countries, it has a main plant in Spain and assembly lines in Brazil and China. Its 20,000 m² factory includes the largest test room in the PET industry and runs on 400 kW of clean energy.
Beyond air, ABC designs compressors for natural gas, hydrogen, biogas, CO₂ and ammonia, applying its knowledge of the Oil & Gas sector to all its divisions.
R&D is key: 10% of the staff and budget is dedicated exclusively to innovation. Current projects include hydrogen at 1,000 bar, biogas, refrigerant-free dryers and leak-free designs.
ABC continues to lead with solutions such as variable speed, SynchronizAir and smart monitoring.
